What could she have done differently?
*Pay attention to her surroundings. The bad guy made it obviouse he was watching her. If she had looked him in the eye or paid him any attention while walking to her car he may have tried an easier target.
*Unlock just the driver's door. Most vehicles these days have the option to open all the doors or just the driver's side. If you cannot control all the doors you might want to place valuables in the truck.
